This year the cherry blossoming started early like last year.
Came back from Nepal on the 28th of March.
Just in time for Hanami (literally translated as “watching (mi) flower (hana)”).
The full blooming flowers are there only one week before they start to fall off.
The next weekend after 28th, the flowers already became less bright and more yellowish.
And leaves started to grow.

Cherry blossoms photographed at:

  1. Yoyogi-koen park, close to where we live, has some cherry blossom (sakura) trees.
  2. Ropongi Sakurazaka, sakura trees planted on both sides of the street.
  3. Meguro river, lots of sakura trees on both sides of the river.
