This article provides you an overview of my healing progress and 4 tips on how to fight off the HPV virus naturally.

These tips concern:

– Taking specific supplements;

– Intake of specific food;

– Breaking off bad habits;

– Plenty of rest and alternative healing.

After 2.5 months of self-healing, healthy cells returned.

The HPV was successfully cleaned out by the body’s immune system!

It is worth to help yourself in natural healing while doing check-ups.

My healing progress

Let’s start off with a summary of the progress I went through:

  • 02 Aug. 2018:                 First time PAP smear test for cervical cancer at the GP.
  • 16 Aug. 2018:                 Light abnormal cells (CIN1), infection HPV virus, further tests were needed.
  • 27 Aug. 2018:                 Colposcopy and biopsy, taken from two places of the cervix.
  • 10 Sep. 2018:                 Result biopsy: moderate to severe abnormal cells (CIN2)
  • 13 Sep. 2018:                 Self-treatment: vitamin pills intake, including AHCC.
  • 28 Nov. 2018:                 PAP smear test at Red cross clinic in Bangkok.
  • 14 Dec. 2018:                 Result PAP smear test: normal cells.
  • 15 Jan. 2019:                  PAP smear test + HPV test at Hua Chiew hospital in Bangkok.
  • 04 Feb. 2019:                 Result PAP smear and HPV test: normal cells and no HPV found.

Wait for half a year

After the biopsy result, the doctor told me to wait half a year.
Only in March 2019 is the time to come back and do another check.

If it turns out the cells are still the same, then further actions will be taken, like a LEEP surgery.

Half a year was enough time for me to try self-healing.

This approach of “both-and” was appealing to me than the limited view of relying solely on surgery.

So, the story began.

By no means, I guarantee this IS the solution.

I am not a doctor, just an experience expert.
Everyone is different; different body, different conditions, different food intake, and supplements.

However, I do encourage people to not lose hope.
To rely on their own body’s power to heal and help it to do so.

We can always fall back on the doctors for surgery if all did not work out.

Changes were done to boost one’s immunity

As of writing, there is no medicine that can kill off HPV.

However, similar to the flu, the body has the power to fight off HPV.

Why some women cannot fight it off, causing the HPV to stay and thereby changing the cells?

The answer is, having a weak immune system.

Quote from www.cancer.gov:

Most HPV infections, even with high-risk types, go away on their own without causing problems.

They are fought off by the body’s immune system.

Sometimes infections with high-risk HPV types do not go away.
When a high-risk HPV infection of cervical cells lasts many years, the cells can become abnormal.

These changes can get worse over time and may become cervical cancer.

So, the key is to boost up the immune system, so that it fights off HPV by itself.

I did changes in the following areas to boost the immune system:

1. Intake of recommended supplements.

2. Eat food and drink beverages that have specific vitamins.

3. Break off bad habits recommended to stop.

4. Plenty of rest and alternative healing.

1. Recommended supplements

What follows is a list of supplements recommended by various websites.

They aid in boosting the immune system.

There is no need to take all the supplements. I did not.
I took only the ones that the websites often mention and that looks effective.

You can read the dosage, how to take it and * (asterisk) means I had taken it.

AHCC *3 gramsDaily intake 3 gr. in the morning on an empty stomach.
One hour before eating.
For 2-3 months.
Vitamin E *400 up to 800 IUDaily intake, best to use the mixed tocopherols one (includes the beta and gamma forms).
Vitamin B11 Folic acid *1000 mcg (1 milligramDaily intake, best to use the one in the form of MTHF methyltetrahydrofolate
Vitamin B12 *1000 mcg (1 milligramDaily intake, best to use the one in the form of methylcobalamin
Vitamin C *1-2 gramsDaily intake
Curcumin *1000 mgDaily intake
Astragalus *500 mgDaily intake, the best amount is between 500 mg and 1000 mg
Vitamin A/beta-carotene5000-10.000 IUDaily intake
Indole-3-carbinol (I3C)400 mgDaily intake
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)1.6-10 mgDaily intake
Zinc15-25 mgDaily intake
Selenium200 mcgDaily intake
Lycopene1-5 mgDaily intake
Ashwagandha *500-600 mgDaily intake

Several websites mention the association of AHCC with HPV.

The University of Texas, Health Science Center, at Houston Medical School, did a small pilot study.

Ten HPV positive women took AHCC extract orally, with promising results.
Japan uses AHCC to treat cancer patients.

I took 3 grams Vitals (brand name) AHCC every morning, 6 capsules of 500mg each).
This on an empty stomach for two months.

2. Vitamin E

I have bought Vitamin E with Delta tocopherol.

Later came to know it was better to use the mixed tocopherols.

So I took the Delta tocopherol and later the mixed tocopherols 800 IU daily.

3. Vitamin B11 (Folic Acid)

I took Folic acid 800 mcg daily. One tablet is 400 mcg, twice a day.

On 5 December 2018, I took 5000 mcg (5 milligrams) daily.
This was prescribed by the doctor for anemia.

4. Vitamin B12

I took 1000 mcg daily.

On 5 December, I took 1 000 000 mcg (1000 mg) of Vitamin B12 prescribed by the doctor for anemia.

This super high dosage came with the name “Neuromet”, 500 mg one capsule.

5. Vitamin C

Vitamin C increases immune system function.

I took 1000 mg (1 gram) daily.

6. Curcumin
Curcumin can inhibit cancer-promoting genes to prevent tumor progression.

I took 800 mg of the brand Nature’s Garden.
Two tablets a day each 400 mg.

7. Astragalus

This herb improves the immune system function.

I took 470 mg daily of the brand “Nature’s Garden”.

8. Vitamin A/beta-carotene

Vitamin A may help stop or prevent cancerous cells on the surface of the cervix.

I did not take this supplement.

9. Indole-3-carbinol (I3C)

I did not take this supplement.

10. Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)

I did not take this supplement.

11. Zinc

I did not take this supplement.

12. Selenium

It improves the immune system function and can regress cervical dysplasia.
I did not take this supplement.

13. Lycopene

I did not take this supplement.

14. Ashwagandha

I took 890 mg daily of the brand Royal Green.

2. Food & beverages

What follows is a list of mainly food, and drinks, which have the vitamins found in the supplements.

VitaminsFood & drinks
EGCGGreen tea
Indole-3-carbinol (I3C)Broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale and cauliflower (cruciferous vegetables)
Vitamin AGreen/orange/red fruits and vegetables
Especially fresh and cooked tomatoes help to fight HPV
Red peppers, yams, green leafy vegetables
Vitamin CCitrus fruits, bell peppers, and strawberries
SeleniumBrazil nuts and mushrooms
Riboflavin (B2)Almonds, wheat germ, whole grains
Vitamin EWhole grains, wheat germ, beans, eggs, and vegetable oils
 ZincWhole grains, apples, black-eyed peas
LycopeneFresh tomatoes and tomato products
Antiviral herbsElderberry, echinacea, calendula, garlic, astragalus root,
cat’s claw, ginger, licorice root, olive leaf, oregano,
oregano oil, and goldenseal
Raw cheeses made from goat’s milk, sheep’s milk and A2 cow’s milk
 Kvass, Kombucha (fermented tea)
Probiotic foodsKimchi, sauerkraut, lived cultured yogurt, greek yogurt,
Goat’s milk kefir or coconut kefir
MushroomsReishi, shiitake, Coriolus, maitake, Agaricus

I daily drank Matcha tea 2-3 cups for two months.

From all the green teas out there, Matcha has the highest concentration of EGCG.
EGCG can slow down cells from further developing into cancer.

Although food helps to support the body, supplements are still indispensable.

The needed extract is in a high concentration in a supplement.

For example, the AHCC supplement, the one I took, has the extract “Lentinula edodes”.

This extract is found in shiitake mushroom, however in small amounts.

Even if you eat 100 mushrooms daily, it is still less than taking a few AHCC capsules a day.

3. Break off bad habits

Various websites recommend stopping the following bad habits.

They increase the risks of cervical cancer.

1. Stop smoking [2]

Surprisingly, cigarette products, such as nicotine,

can wend their way into cervical mucus,

suggesting a possible mechanism by which smoking can affect

the development of the types of cervical abnormalities that are

detected by Pap testing.

A study found that a cancer-causing chemical found in cigarette

smoke, benzo[a]pyrene (BaP), can be found in cervical mucus,

where it can interact with HPV.

2. Stop using birth control pills

Oral contraceptive users have a higher risk of developing pre-cancerous changes on the cervix compared to nonusers [3].

3. No fried foods [4]

In addition to being full of fats that could increase your “bad” cholesterol,

fried foods can also trigger inflammation, leading to reduced immunity.

4. No caffeine [5] and no alcohol

Too much caffeine can decrease the ability of our immune system

to fight infections as well as remove damaged or abnormal cells.

Alcohol intake reduces immune system function and is

associated with an increased risk of developing cancer [6].

5. No refined sugar in any form

This increases inflammation and reduces immune function.

4. Plenty of rest and alternative healing

What is also helpful is having enough sleep every day, to reduce stress.

I quit my job, so I can fully focus on my health.

Mid-November I went to Thailand.

In Thailand, I slept every day without having an alarm set.
Woke up naturally.

In a desperate state of mind, I tried every possible thing out there.

I contacted Detlev via a friend around October.
He works with energy and can clean one’s body from negative energies.

I don’t know if eventually was him that had cleaned my body from HPV or the mix with the supplements.

He speaks mainly German.
If you contact him through e-mail, the best is to use Google Translate into German.
Or having someone helping you write in German.

For more information, see his website:

Another alternative healing method is acupuncture.

It is also working with energy by putting needles in the body.
Acupuncture can further strengthen the immune system.

That was my reason for going to Thailand since acupuncture in The Netherlands is pricey.

Eventually, it turns out that the PAP smear test I did was before doing acupuncture.

And the result of that was normal healthy cells.

So it means the energy work, the supplements-intake, and food were helping the body to fight off the HPV and heal the cells.
